Travel Size vs. Full Size

It seems like the weather is getting nicer each day, and I am already looking forward to some traveling over the Spring and Summer: a road trip to a friend's wedding, a camping trip at the end of Spring and I'm flying to Mexico at the end of Summer. Now, if you are like me, you probably bring some personal products with you when you travel, and whether I'm lugging my bags through a busy airport or hiking into the back country, I don't like to be weighed down. I do, however, tend to bring along the same kinds of things wherever I go: some shampoo and conditioner, soap, deodorant, a toothbrush and toothpaste, floss and mouthwash, hair gel, shaving cream, a razor, lotion and sunscreen. So, just for fun, we here at Minimus weighed all of the stuff I travel with and compared it to the same stuff in travel sizes.

Here's what I usually travel with:

And here are the same types of items in travel sizes; enough for me to travel with for about a week:

Finally, we weighed both the full size and travel size to see what the difference was. The travel sizes came in at just over a pound; sixteen and one half ounces to be exact.

We had to weigh the full sized items on our bigger scale. They weighed in at nine pounds. (Have I really been carrying that much stuff around?)

So, I will definitely be making Minimus products a part of my travel plans this Summer, especially on those trips when every pound counts; on a plane or when hiking, for example.

New Sale Items

This week we observed the first day of Spring. To mark the occasion I asked around to see what some of the favorite products were here at Minimus so I could include them in this month's list of sale items. I love spicy food so, my personal choice was the miniature Tabasco Green Pepper Sauce in bottles. Enjoy!
