Have Poncho, Will Travel!
Not long ago my aunt and my sister set off on a road trip. They were driving cross-country from Southern California to Miami, Florida (where they left the car for a short flight to the Bahamas so my sister could scuba dive and swim with the sharks!). After flying back to Miami they drove to Key West, Florida, then north to Washington, DC. My mom flew out to meet them in DC, my aunt got on a plane to come home, and then my mom and sister drove back across the country to finish the trip.
My sister, you see, hates to fly. So she devised an itinerary where she flew as short a distance as possible, and they were taking the opportunity to see a lot of major sights and attractions along the way.
Well, a road trip calls for some special preparation, so I loaded them up with a care package of travel size things to make their journey more comfortable and enjoyable.
What did they find the most valuable? Rain ponchos.

My aunt in front of the Lincoln Monument.
Apparently it rained the entire time they were visiting the National Mall in DC. It made for a great day - it wasn't hot, there were no crowds, and they could take as many pictures as they wanted without dodging other people.
What else did I send along on their trip?
Shout® Portable Wipes (also got heavy use!)
Charmin® To Go Toilet Seat Covers and Bathroom Tissue
Gearaid Mini Roll Duct Tape
Purell® Aloe Hand Sanitizer, 2oz
Pepto Bismol® Chewable Tablets (for my poor motion sick sister)
and packets of SmartShield® Serious Sun Protection Lotion and After Sun Pain Relief Gel
